Presented by South Sixteenth High Jinks

Your double-decked, winged, jumping and fire breathing sleds hit the slopes of Powderhorn Park!

What?

Watch the antics of outrageous never-tried-before art sleds*, or drop in yourself with a contraption of your own. Each sled and its creator will take to a decorated hill accompanied by throngs of spectators. Live music, a warming tent, hot chocolate and coffee will round out the afternoon’s activities.

How?

The free Art Sled Workshop at Powderhorn Park Community Center’s gym has come and gone, but feel free to design and build a sled on your own, and show up with your contraption on the decorated northwestern slopes of Powderhorn Park, January 30, 2010. Use cardboard, wood, steel, fabric… anything goes on ice. Check our gallery if you need some inspiration.
